WELCOME

Hey, do you want to read a fun, lively,

nail-biting adventure

of a book?

It's here!

Treasure Island Triangle

WHY THIS BOOK IS IMPORTANT RIGHT NOW

My book is about people: White, Black, Hispanic, Jamaican, English, Greek, gay, straight, religious, not religious, political, not political, male, and female—all identifiers that detract from the fundamental premise that people are people who need love and experience pain. I endeavor to equalize the playing field through this story.
This multifaceted love story transcends niche categories and deserves mainstream exposure to showcase the normalcy of diverse lives. Its romantic relationships propel this book's emotional journey to incredible heights.
The story follows characters as they go through life's different stages. Despite a tragic beginning and end, the narrative features initial joy, rising tension, and a pivotal life alteration.
The characters' actions cause them to experience and inflict guilt, shame, conflict and hurt. Whether certain characters receive redemption for their actions is unclear, and readers might not want that, but—spoiler alert— to demonstrate that healing can occur, they eventually benefit from forgiveness, and form new relationships, though not until the second season, maybe :).
And then, of course, there's the fun factor. The story unfolds on the sun-drenched beaches of West Florida, where characters revel in the warmth and paradise-like atmosphere. Characters play music, run, attempt surfing, fly kites, walk, and sun-worship on the beach. Readers can live vicariously in Florida through the visual imagery portrayed throughout the book.
Be brave. Give this book a look. But, before clicking, read the next section.

Meet The Author

Nikki Ott is a writer living near the West Florida Beaches. She arrived in paradise from the cold and overcast Philadelphia area in her early twenties and continues to find wonder in waving palm trees.
Her passion for writing started in her early teens as a lyricist. She was the first and only "girl drummer" in her high school marching band. She majored in music (percussion) and theater, and she was the only female drummer during her two-year tenure at college.
As a drummer and songwriter, she played in many bands in her twenties and thirties. She infuses her writing with her profound and natural love of music. Unfortunately, back injuries ended her musical career.
Song lyrics can teach valuable life lessons. Most of her song lyrics were about teaching and learning. Feeling the need for a more direct path to helping people, she shifted from songwriting to the structured framework of Life Coaching. She became a Certified Life Coach through the (Tony) Robbins and (Cloe) Madanes Training course for Coaches in 2013. She embarked on a career as a Life Coach, but it was short-lived. Still, she hopes her book will be the next step in her journey to expose the hidden pain of others, leading to healing and understanding.
